No smiles this time!
Yes, Aidan has decided there have been enough pictures and isn't smiling for the camera anymore. (The still camera, that is. We have some juicy grins on video—catch the QuickTime movies on the Home Page!)
At left he lounges on the quilt made by Mamacita, one of his great-grandmothers.
At right, you can see us out on our back porch as a family …
… and as individuals. New Mommy, new Daddy.
And here's Grania! [Ed. note: Though Aidan will undoubtedly choose his own names for near relatives, Sharon has tentatively picked Grania as being a euphonic play on Gran as both short for grandma and the original family name before it changed to Grant.]
We've had family members from far and wide (and near and narrow) clustering round, naturally. Here's Auntie Cathy and, as a special bonus, Cath and John's own dependents, Jason and Alex. Aren't they just the cutest retrievers you have ever seen?
We close this installment with another canine-interest picture: Our very own Genevieve bonding with Aidan.
Editorial note: As of Aidan's 6-month birthday (and coincidentally, Anne's 32nd birthday), Aidan was 21 pounds and 30 inches long. According to the doctors, off the chart
