Meeting Mom and Dad
This is Aidan at our very first meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Kim (he's pictured below) brought Aidan to ESWS the morning after we arrived in Korea. Aidan was still sleeping, but we pestered him until he woke up and plied him with toys. Yum!
What a happy baby!
Besides eating toys, Aidan happily guzzles his formula. He made the switch from Maeil (Korean formula) to Similac just fine. Actually, he's adjusted to all the new strangeness really well.
Speaking of adjusting, Genevieve is still trying to understand why she's not the center of attention. (That big black blob at lower left is Genny.) But she gets along well with Aidan, always happy to lick his face (particularly if he's been eating).
Another of Aidan's favorite pastimes is being carried around. Korean women wrap up their babies in a sort of swaddling blanket called a podaegi on their backs—Aidan seems just as happy to check out the world around him by riding in front.
Aidan is also on his best behavior meeting new people. Here he is making friends with Grandma, who is tickled pink to have a second grandchild.
